English Language Tutors Needed
The Literacy Volunteers of Bangor is offering training starting March16. You can choose English Language Learning Tutor Training or Basic Literacy Tutor Training. The program has a number of students who need a tutor; however they need to train more tutors to meet these needs.

UMaine students, Maher Alsamsam and Adam Elkadi, are organizing a supply drive to support aid efforts for those impacted by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey. Promoting Camp Pride in Maine

Queer youth summer camp the first week in July!! Camp Pride at Pilgrim Lodge (UCC-affiliated and interfaith-led). Wildly successful in past years, the age span for this week now goes from middle school to high school.

Pastor Malcolm has been a camp chaplain for Camp Pride. He recommends the experience – just over an hour away, a beautiful spot in West Gardiner, Maine.

Items needed:
1 gallon plastic zipper closure bag
1 cotton hand towel measuring approximately 15″ x 28″ to 16″ x 32″
1 cotton washcloth
1 wide-tooth comb removed from the package
1 fingernail or toenail clipper removed from the package
1 bath-size bar of soap in the wrapper
1 toothbrush in the package
10 standard size Band-Aids
All items need to fit inside your one-gallon Zip Lock Bag. 
Remove the excess air from the bag and seal it.
Please do NOT add any items, including toothpaste.
